UpsourceIT is a Denver based IT consultant and service provider, specializing in CRM, application integration and web development. In 2009, Atom Stevens was retained to help UpsourceIT rebuild their own web presence. Working in a collaborative fashion with the firm, Atom helped them define the user interface for their site and took primary responsibility for the graphics package. Upsource wanted a site that was still graphically rich - but highly functional (the site was built on the DotNetNuke CMS platform). Atom delivered by suggesting a very simple one-column approach, with the main navigation at the top and sub-navigation to the left. Atom developed the image on the landing page, using photoshop to emboss their logo onto an elevator button (an elevator used metaphorically for 'upsource'). He also developed a set of icons and rich backgrounds, giving each section of the site a distinct but complimentary look in order to define each of the firm's set of services. The firm is very satisfied with launch of their new site in June. |
